![]() I sincerely hope that everyone fulfills their own goals as they are helping fulfill my own. ![]() Although this has been recently articulated by our members, I have seen a rapid progression of each person’s confidence in speaking Latin. (How the tables have turned!-and I say that in the most endearing way). And remember those closed-minded friends I mentioned? Well now they are some of the most involved in our meetings. I could not have done it without the generous support of my Latin teachers, Magistra Cerulli et Magistra Serena, my family, and my closest friends. In the beginning, I honestly didn't think that Latin and Lattes would go far because I really didn’t know what it entailed and just took everything day by day. I am beyond happy to have this newfound community to share what we love. I have learned so much from the new people I have met and welcomed everyone with open arms. this will work out perfectly in creating a wonderful cup of hot latte.This entire experience has been extremely rewarding, not only because I have begun to fulfill my goal of speaking Latin, but also because I have created an environment where we are connected by shared interests and passions. Yes, make your drink with any regular or strong brewed coffee that you may have on hand. Set in the Delray Beachs trendy design district, Lulus is a neighborhood caf & bar serving breakfast, dinner & hand-crafted fresh cocktails. I recommend letting the drink cool down for a few minutes before trying to pour it over ice so that it lasts a little longer and doesn’t melt the ice down so quickly. Oh absolutely! This would make for a very delicious iced drink. Would butter pecan latte taste good over ice? Torani syrup also makes a butter pecan flavored syrup that can be used for flavoring. That extract is made to taste like vanilla butter and nuts which makes it a really good second place option when you’re in a pinch. You can find it online at multiple retailers or if your grocery store carries it you can use McCormicks Cake Batter flavoring extract instead. I originally found it years ago in a grocery store’s imitation flavoring section but it has since become rather difficult to find.
